I had the exciting opportunity to be featured in a CTV News interview alongside my friend, Marie-Eve Bouchard, where we were showcased in motion capture suits, demonstrating the cutting-edge technology used in the Game Design & Virtual Simulation program at Georgian College. The segment highlighted Georgian’s 13 design and visual arts programs, which include work placements and client experiences, preparing students for the workforce and providing them with opportunities to apply their skills immediately after graduation. It was an incredible experience to be part of this feature and to represent the innovative learning happening at Georgian College.
I was honored to be featured in Georgian College’s Career Conversation series, where I shared my journey as a Game Design Developer and how I’m building my personal brand and portfolio while studying in the Game Design & Virtual Simulation program. Drawing on my background in Equity Studies and a Master’s in Social Justice from the University of Toronto, I spoke about the importance of authenticity, storytelling, and leveraging diverse experiences to carve out a competitive edge in creative industries. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on my growth and connect with other students navigating their career paths.
